Recover Photo

DD Recover Photos is an advanced tool that is used to recover lost / deleted image files from any type of removable media.

Follow these steps to recover lost / deleted photos from digital media

1. Connect your camera to your PC or place your compact flash or other memory card into a card reader connected to your PC. Run the DD Recover Photo application either by double clicking the application icon on the desktop or from Programs list in Start menu.

DD Recover Photo application main window is as shown in Figure a.

 

2. Select a drive from which data needs to be recovered and click Next button. As you click Next button, a window to select image file types that needs to be recovered is displayed as shown in Figure b.

 

 

3. Select the image file types you wish to recover and click Next button to start scanning process. As you click Next button, the program scans for selected image file types in the selected drive and lists all the found data in a tree format under Root folder as shown in Figure c.

 

All found files displayed in the tree structure will be grouped according to their file types.

Select the data you wish to recover or click Root folder to save all the data and click Save button. This will restore the data to specified destination location.
